You have arrived at my personal blog for how I cook up a highly engaging learning environment for my Kinders. I am brand new and just getting started, so thank you for checking me out. A little about me...
I am a career Kindergarten Teacher with over a decade of experience. I have a masters degree in curriculum and instruction. I have won a few awards for my work (Herb Kohl Teacher Fellow 2020), and I live and breathe Kindergarten.
But now...in fall of 2020 I made the choice to make a big change. Now, I am a full time K-5 virtual teacher! I am so excited for my journey and to share what I learn.
I have created this blog as a place to share my ideas on how to make virtual teaching in the primary grades amazing. I chose the name The Primary Pink Chef because I love to cook in my classroom even online, but I also love to cook with curriculum! By that I mean I blend, stir, and mix together different pieces of curriculum until I find the most effective way to deliver instruction to my students. I am a huge TPT teacher, I am a Pinterest teacher, and overall I am a teacher that will do what it takes to do right by my students.
Here in my blog you will find recipes for instruction, projects, book reviews, and much more. I WILL NEVER CLAIM THAT EVERYTHING IS MY IDEA AND I WILL ALWAYS GIVE CREDIT TO OTHERS WHEN I SEE A GOOD IDEA I NEED TO SHARE.
On a personal note, I have been married to a wonderful man for 14 years, I am a Fur Mama, an avid reader, and a travel/ nature geek.
